MIAMI, Florida – March 4, 2025 – Global programmatic media partner MiQ today announced its entry into Latin America's rapidly growing digital advertising ecosystem. With initial operations launching in Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia, MiQ will directly address the region's most pressing digital advertising needs. Seasoned advertising executive Eric Tourtel, who previously established Teads Latin America, will lead the expansion as newly appointed CEO of MiQ LatAm.

Latin America represents a significant opportunity for advanced programmatic capabilities, with the digital advertising market valued at $24 billion and projected to reach $34 billion by 2028, according to eMarketer. Despite its potential, the region often remains underserved—challenged by market fragmentation, inconsistent cross-border solutions, and often overlooked by major tech providers. As the former President of Teads Latin America, Tourtel led the company’s expansion across key markets, including establishing Teads as the region's top video ad marketplace. Prior to that, Tourtel held leadership roles at AOL Advertising and El Mundo, helping to grow and innovate across global markets. Most recently, he served as President of Latin America for Canela Media, where he led the roll out of the Latin American arm for the company. His deep understanding of the market's needs and potential will be instrumental as MiQ establishes itself as the power behind better programmatic performance across Latin America.
